Maryse Poels (1998) graphic designer, based in Arnhem (NL)

My work is mostly based around pinpointing a specific moment in time, within the themes of changing identities, memory, (in)authenticy and the imaginary. I have a great interest in the Moluccan culture, and find my urge in reliving this oral history as a fourth generation Moluccan today. I mostly work around printed matter, found footage and time based media. All with experimenting in materiality and tangibility.
