Maryse Poels (1998), graphic designer, Arnhem (NL)
My work is mostly based around pinpointing a specific moment in time, within the themes of changing identities of places, memory, (in)authenticity and the imaginary. I have a great interest in Moluccan culture, and find my urge in reliving this oral history as a fourth generation Moluccan today. I find my passion in printed matter, found footage and time based media. All with experimenting in materiality and tangibility.
